Of 121, Mealhouse Lane, Atherton, Lancashire. Reported missing since 10/04/1918 and subsequently confirmed wounded and prisoner of war at Munster.

Son of Robert and Ellen Davies, of 2, Robinson Street, Horwich, Lancashire.

Davies, James –

Husband of Alice Davies, of 138, Shuttle Street, Tyldesley, Lancashire.

Davies, Joe Isaac –

Son of Samuel and Jane Davies, of 9, Hornby Street, Bury New Road, Manchester, Lancashire.

Dawson, George –

Son of Minnie Dawson, 51 Crowther Street, Salford, Lancashire (formerly of 55 Rudman Street). Prior to the war George had worked for Gresham and Craven engineers and attended Christ Church. George is also remembered on his families headstone at Salford (Weaste) Cemetery (Grave Ref: L-1183).

Dawson, Wilfred –

Of 6, Whitby Street, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Relatives lived at 7, Jackson’s Buildings, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. Died in the 44th Casualty Clearing Station from wounds.

Dent, David –

Son of Albert and Martha Dent, of 12, Vere Street, Eccles New Road, Salford, Lancashire. Of Manchester, Lancashire. Formerly 4431, Lancashire Fusiliers. Attached 95th Prisoner of War Company.

Derbyshire, James –

Son of Mary Derbyshire, of 20, Saturn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously 10th and 6th Bns., Border Regiment. Caught aged 32 as an absentee from the 10th Bn., Border Regiment at Billericay, Essex, since 30/07/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 03/08/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26). Reported missing in action since 23/03/1918 and death subsequently assumed on or after that date.

Derbyshire, Ross –

Husband of Mrs. Derbyshire, of 7, Haydn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1915. Wounded 17/09/1916.
