Hamer, William –

Son of Mrs. Hamer, of 14, Reformation Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Taken prisoner of war 23/03/1918 and held at Limburg, Germany.

Hampson, Harold –

Son of Mary Hampson, of 44, Ellesmere Street, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Ellen Hampson (nee Hunt). Formerly Private 24784, 11th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, transferred to the 3rd Bn., East Lancashire Regiment in September 1916. Address later 13, Cypress Road, Worsley, Lancashire.

Hardman, James –

Of 107, Blackhorse Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 29 as an absentee from Heaton Park Camp since 19/01/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 22/01/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).

Son of Joseph and Edith Annie Harwood (stepmother), of 65, Kent Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and of the late Agnes Ellen Harwood. Enlisted September 1914. Formerly Private 14916, 3rd Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Originally posted as missing, and subsequently presumed killed.
