Of 22, Craddock Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee multiple times appearing before Bolton Magistrates Court to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26 & JBO/1/27).

Hulmes, Harvey –

Son of Mr. John Hulmes, of 47, Halshaw Lane, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1917. Wounded. Reported missing 18/04/1918 and subsequently confirmed as prisoner of war.

Husband of Mary H. Ince, of 18, William Street, Chorley, Lancashire. Formerly employed at the Horwich Locomotive Works. Mobilised as a reservist 05/08/1914. Formerly Private 7976, 2nd Bn., and Corporal 7976, 10th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Posted missing since 12/10/1916, and subsequently presumed killed.
