Maddocks, Richard –

Son of Richard Ainley Maddocks, of 12, Myrtle Street, Cross Lane, Salford, Lancashire.

Makinson, Edward –

Husband of Mrs. Makinson, of 228, Chorley Old Road, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a boilermaker’s helper at the Horwich Loco Works. Enlisted February 1916. Captured 09/04/1918 and prisoner of war at Limburg, Germany.

Son of David and Mary Ellen Marden, of 5, Cellini Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Ada Ellen Marden (nee Rouke), of 17, Cellini Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Served as a Lewis gunner. Surname recorded as MARSDEN on SDGW and CWGC. Brothers Albert and Will also served.

Mayoh, William –

Son of Mary Mayoh, of 10, Elizabeth Street, Gate Street, Deane Road, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Joseph Mayoh. Suffered shrapnel wounds and died en-route to hospital.
