Of 26, Mill Lane, Southport, Lancashire. Caught aged 19 as an absentee from Milford Haven since 30/03/1917 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 14/04/1917 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/28).
