Son of John Rawlinson Urmson and Sarah Alice Urmson, of 4, Corrie Street, Little Hulton, Lancashire.

Varey (Leyland), Robert –

NOTE:- Also known as Robert Leyland. Husband of Henrietta (nee English). Of 11, Highfield Place, Preston, Lancashire. Previously deserted from Royal Field Artillery.

Vickers, Wright –

Husband of Elizabeth Alice Vickers (nee Riley), of 73, Charles Rupert Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously served as Private 3435 with the Lancashire Fusiliers, enlisting 30/09/1890 at Bury, including service in the South African Campaign. Discharged time-expired 29/09/1902. War service: formerly 6335, 9th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Wounded 07/08/1915. Appeared aged 53 before Bolton Magistrates 09/05/1919 having been found drunk and disorderly in Back Knowsley Street on 08/05/1915. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/30). Died aged 69 years on 26/08/1936 at Townleys Hospital from Senility, and interred 29/08/1936 in Bolton (Heaton) Cemetery.

Walch, William –

Son of William Walch, of 9, Thorne Street, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Rose Hannah Walch, of 207, Manchester Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted June 1916. Formerly 31662, Royal Flying Corps. Died in the 53rd General Hospital in France from the effects of gas sustained five days previously.
