Brother of Mr. H. Fielding, of 24, Rudolph Street, Bolton, Lancashire, with whom he formerly resided. Formerly employed as a shoemaker at the Venture Street branch of the Bolton Co-Operative Society. Formerly 33364, Cheshire Regiment. Reported missing since 31/07/1918 and subsequently presumed killed.

Finch, Walter –

Son of Thomas and Hannah Finch (nee Barton), of 24, Penn Street, Horwich, Lancashire, and formerly of 79, Victoria Road, Horwich, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915. Formerly 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported wounded and missing since 23/12/1916.

Elder son of Ann Fisher, of 83, Ramwell Street, Deane, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Thomas Fisher. An old boy of the Bolton Church Institute (1904-1906). Enlisted April 1916.

Fletcher, John (Jack) –

Son of John and Isabella Fletcher, of 17, Croston Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915. Formerly 4801, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. Reported missing sonce 20/11/1917 in France and subsequently presumed killed. Second son to be killed.

Flitcroft, John William –

Son of Mary Jane Dolan (formerly Flitcroft, nee Glazebrook), of 29, Bentinck Street, Farnworth, Lancashire, and stepson of Richard Armistead Dolan. Enlisted June 1915, as Private 5386, 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Caught aged 26 as an absentee from 4th Bn., King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment at Heaton Park Camp since 27/07/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 30/07/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort.
