Of 30, Ernest Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Twice previously wounded. Taken prisoner of war by the Germans on 28/03/1918.

Keating, Daniel –

Son of Mrs. Catherine Keating, of 5, Sheares Street, Cork, County Cork, Ireland.

Kelly, James –

Son of Charles and Mary B. Kelly, of 49, Shaw Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Served 7 years in India, and in the South African Campaign. Formerly 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded by gunshot in the chest 08/08/1916. A brother served with the Rifle Brigade in India.

Son of the late John and Jane Kelly. His sister resided at 23, Leicester Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Rumoured to have been recommended for the V.C., though not awarded.

Kermode, Alfred Ernest –

Son of John Thomas. and Margaret Kermode; husband of Maggie Beatrice Kermode (nee Jones), of 40, Arrowsmith Terrace, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a tram guard by the Corporation Tramways Department. Prisoner of war.

Keyworth, Victor –

Son of Mrs. Elizabeth (Bessie) Birmingham (formerly Keyworth, nee Foy), and the late Albert Edward Keyworth.

King, John –

Son of John and Elizabeth King, of 24, Broad Oak Cottage, Heath Charnock, Chorley, Lancashire.

Kinlock, Walter –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Kinlock, of Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed at the Post Office. Enlisted October 1914. Reported wounded and believed killed, and subsequently confirmed killed.
