Carroll, John Lyons –

Of 16, Plover Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Recorded as John LYONS on Medal Card and Silver War Badge Register. Died aged 27 years 21/07/1924 and interred at Bolton (Heaton) Cemetery on 25/07/1924 in grave CE. 3. M6. 37.

Case, William –

Son of Henry and Mary Ann Case, of 156, Atherton Road, Hindley, Lancashire. Enlisted at Bolton on 09/01/1915 as Private 15887, 18th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers, and discharged 03/06/1915 as not likely to become an efficient soldier. Re-enlisted in King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. Completed further territorial service through the 1920’s.

Cassidy, James –

Of 34, Channing Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 33 as a deserter from Plymouth since 20/11/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 15/10/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).
