Son of Mr. James Walsh, of 30, Sunlight Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a Cinema Operator at the Electric Theatre, Daubhill. Enlisted February 1916. Had also served in the Tanks. Severely wounded by a shell which shattered his left wrist and wounded him in the right thigh.
