Husband of Elizabeth Colgan (formerly Myerscough), of 21, Hardy Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 26, Livingstone Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Served in the South African Campaign and completed fifteen years service with the Colours in January 1915. Suffered a shot wound in the ankle.

Noakes, Albert –

Son of Joseph and Selina Noakes, of 27, Brookfield Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mary H. Noakes, of 28, Craddock Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 47113, Royal Garrison Artillery.

Nuttall, Harold –

Son of William and Mary A. Nuttall, of Pendlebury, Lancashire. Attached Herefordshire Regiment.

O’Brien, Owen –

Son of the late Mrs. O’Brien, of 68, Crompton Street, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. O’Brien, of 45, Cooke Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted 1902. Wounded. Discharged October 1916.

Partington, John C –

Son of James Partington; husband of Mary Jane Horn (formerly Partington), of 461, Langside Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Pennington, Robert –

Son of Mr. John Pennington, of 30, Vickers Row, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted July 1917. Wounded 25/03/1918 with a fractured leg, and hospitalised at Brighton, Sussex.

Pollitt, Harold –

Son of Mrs. Pollitt, of 18, Bury Road, Ainsworth, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Reported missing since 22/03/1918 and confirmed prisoner of war in Germany.

Poole, Harold –

Son of Albert and Eliza Poole, of Old Trafford, Manchester, Lancashire. Formerly 2723, Training Reserve Bn. Attached 60th Trench Mortar Battery.

Potter, Wilfred Joseph –

Son of Mr. Joseph Potter, of 55, Church Street, Little Lever, Lancashire, and formerly of 209, Church Street, Little Lever, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company in the stores department at Burnden Loco Works. Enlisted January 1915. Wounded at Hooge, near Ypres, on 09/08/1915.

Pountain, Herbert –

Son of William and Emily Pountain, of 45, Berkeley Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Louisa Emily Pountain (nee Hope). Enlisted December 1914.

Prunnell, John William –

Son of William and Mary Ann Prunnell, of 20, Knowsley Avenue, Eccles, Lancashire. His brother Harry also fell.
