McGillivray, Donald –

Younger son of Donald and Sarah McGillivray(nee Woods), of 19, Hillside Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Enlisted October 1914 in the Royal Army Medical Corps, and transferred to the Gordon Highlanders as Private 5571 / 11079 in May 1915. Wounded by gunshot in the left arm. One of four captured prisoners of war who made good their escape.
