Formerly Corporal 2850, 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Promoted from Lance Corporal to Corporal 16/08/1915.

Ridings, James –

Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Ridings, of Walkden, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth Lane Ridings, of 13, Henry Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 11, Fortune Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 46127, 17th Labour Bn., Cheshire Regiment. Taken prisoner of war at Cambrai on 30/11/1917, and died in captivity at Friedrichsfeld, Germany.
