Formerly Guardsman 27099, Grenadier Guards. Wounded in the left wrist 31/07/1917 and treated at Colchester Hospital. Discharged to 508, Darwen Road, Dunscar, Turton, Lancashire.

Dunn, Thomas –

Son of William and Alice Dunn, of Bolton, Lancashire. Widower with two children, of 22, York Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 4125, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment; formerly 62638, King’s Liverpool Regiment. Killed by the explosion of a bomb dropped from an enemy aeroplane. Reported as J Dunn in BC.

Previously enlisted at Bolton 24/02/1917 as Private TR/4/29347, Training Reserve Bn., and discharged 03/07/1917 as no longer physically fit due to tubercle of lung. Re-enlisted as Private 8688t, Garrison Bn., Royal Welch Fusiliers, and subsequently transferred to 44819, Gloucestershire Regiment following successful treatment.
