Son of George and Ellen Beesley, of Burnage, Lancashire. Formerly police constable, of 66, Church Street, Little Lever, Lancashire. Reported missing since 01/07/1916 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war. Transferred to Holland in August 1918.

Bellis, Albert –

Of 4, Bradshaw Street, Pendleton, Lancashire, and formerly of Church Street, Pendleton, Lancashire. Formerly a tramcar conductor.

Belsey, Thomas –

Son of Henry and Rachel Belsey (nee Brown), of 26, Emmanuel Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Joined the Lancashire Fusiliers as a Regular prior to 1911 and served in India.

Bennett, James –

Of Red Bridge, Ainsworth. Enlisted August 1914. Formerly Sergeant, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Twice wounded.
