Owen, James –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Owen, of 29, Charsworth Street, Walkden, Lancashire; husband of Sarah A. Smethurst (formerly Owen), of Duke Street, Linnyshaw, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Died at the Warrington Military Hospital from the effects of gas poisoning and shell shock sustained 11/08/1917 in France.
