Of 47, Bridgewater Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915.

Pollitt, William –

Brother of Mrs. E. Comer (nee Pollitt), of 116, Bridgewater Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Reported missing since 23/03/1918 and subsequently confirmed wounded and prisoner of war. Lost his left leg whilst prisoner which had to be amputated due to being shot through it when captured. “Walkden Pals”.
