Caught again as an absentee from Kinmel Park Convalescent Camp, Rhyl since 07/09/1916, and from Barrow since 14/09/1916, and 27/09/1916. Appeared before Bolton Magistrates 04/06/1915, 02/05/1916, 07/09/1916, 15/09/1916, 30/09/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26 & JBO/1/27).
