Stott, John –

Of 95, Adelaide Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 29 as an absentee from the 20th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers at Conway since 29/08/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 31/08/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26).

Stott, Robert William Harold –

Son of Charles William and Mary Alice Stott, of 1, Higher Holmes, Sharples, Bolton, Lancashire. Twice wounded, in May and August 1915 whilst serving the Dardanelles. Wounded October 1916 in France. Reported as Harold SCOTT in BJ&G, and also as Harold in BC.

Stott, Thomas –

Son of Ann Jane Stott, of 134, Ellesmere Street, Farnworth, Lancashire, and the late William Stott; brother of Mrs. Grundy (nee Stott), of 231, Manchester Road, Walkden, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Stott, of Leeds, Yorkshire. Enlisted aged 18. Wounded five times, the last aged 32 on 30/03/1918 when hit by a shell resulting in amputation of both legs.
