Brookes, Harry –

Son of Thomas Henry and Elizabeth Brookes, of Manchester, and formerly of “Greenmount”, Harper Green Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted in the Manchester Regiment in November 1914, and was commissioned 06/10/1917 and posted to the Lancashire Fusiliers. Wounded 26/03/1918 from which he subsequently dies..
