Son of Private William Flitcroft; brother of Mrs. Parker, of Chester Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Adopted nephew of Mrs. Myerscough, of 13, St. Helena Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded in the left foot by a rifle grenade, which required amputation.
