Son of the late Thomas Foster, and of Ann Catherine Foster (nee Jones), of 23, Southern Street, Brownlow Fold, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly a crane driver in the employ of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Horwich Loco Works. His twin brother John was wounded in service.

Husband of Elizabeth Foster (nee Reddy), of 17, Sidney Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded October 1916. Reported missing on 27/05/1918 and later confirmed prisoner of war.

Foster, Thomas Anderson –

Husband of Mrs. Foster, of 4, Rigby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded in the head and lost the sight of his right eye. Treated at No.4 General British Hospital, Versailles.
