Son of Charles and Ann Greenhalgh, of Swinton, Lancashire; husband of Annie E. Greenhlagh, of 39, Urmson Road, Wallasey, Cheshire. Formerly Private 2315, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Died of pneumonia at the Military Hospital, Withington following being gassed.

Of 44, Primrose Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed at Chadwick’s Eagley Mills. Wounded in the back by shrapnel August 1916.

Son of Mrs. Stockton; husband of Ada Greenhalgh, of 72, Hibbert Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 5473, 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Greenhalgh, George Harold –

Of 6, St. Augustine Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 2324, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Captured prisoner of war 30/11/1917.

Greenhalgh, Harold Joseph (Joseph Harold) –

Eldest of two soldier sons of Lawrence and Sarah Frances Greenhalgh (nee Ashton), of 2, Dimple, Egerton, Turton, Lancashire. NOTE:- Name recorded as Joseph Harold Greenhalgh at birth.

Greenhalgh, Henry –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Greenhalgh, of 72, Walves, Hawkshaw, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1916.

Greenhalgh, Herbert –

Son of John and Betsy Jane Greenhalgh; husband of Agnes Ann Greenhalgh (nee Wilson), of 2, Crown Point, Edgworth, Turton, Lancashire, and formerly of 11, Thomasson Fold, Edgworth, Turton, Lancashire. Wounded November 1916, and transferred to Royal Defence Corps during recovery. Wounded May 1917 by gunshot. Died aged 35 years 11/05/1921.

Greenhalgh, Herbert –

Son of Robert and Annie Greenhalgh, of 22, Bamber Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 10th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported missing / taken prisoner of war 30/11/1917 and subsequently confirmed killed.
