Son of Charles Henry and Margaret Ellen Helliwell. Of Oldham, Lancashire. Relatives resided at 13, Hill Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1917. Surname sometimes mistakenly recorded as HALLIWELL.

Helliwell, Harold –

Youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Helliwell, of 105, St. George’s Road, Bolton, Lancashire.

Henderson, Thomas Ottewell –

Son of W. H. and S. Henderson, of 374, Deane Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly assistant scoutmaster to the 8th Bolton Troop. Formerly Private 5583, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Died of pneumonia in France.

Heney, John (Jack) –

Son of Thomas and Minnie Heney, of 37, School Hill, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Heney, of Rix Street, Blackburn Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Treated at Malta for shell and explosive bullet wounds in April 1916.

Henley, William –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Henley, of 39, Summer Street, Horwich, Lancashire. Reported missing since 15/06/1916 at Festubert, and subsequently presumed killed. Previously served with the 1st Manchester Regiment at the Siege of Ladysmith and through the South African Campaign.

Hennefer, William –

Son of Mrs. Maria Ellen Hennefer, of 3, Robert Stanley Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915.
