Son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Hollin, of Higher Broughton, Lancashire. Formerly 18514, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Hollingworth, of 126, Leach Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1917. Reported missing since 02/10/1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Hollingworth, of 126, Leach Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915.

Hollinshead, John –

Of 45, Craddock Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 23 as a deserter from Chipping Sodbury since 24/10/1914 and again as a deserter from Oxted, Surrey since 19/07/1915. Appeared before Bolton Magistrates 05/11/1914 and 22/07/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/25 & JBO/1/26).

Hollis, Thomas –

Husband of Emmalina Hollis, of 22, Highfield Road, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Sergeant Major, his association with the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment dates back to service in the South African Campaign with the 2nd Volunteer Bn. as a Cyclist, joining in 1900. Commissioned 11/11/1915. Promoted acting Captain September 1917. While acting Captain, was wounded by shrapnel in the leg 07/06/1918 and hospitalised at Oxford. His two brothers were also hospitalised at around the same time. Surname also reported as HOLLAS in BJ&G.
