Hopkinson, William –

Son of Mary Ann Hopkinson, of 4, Spring Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly 1st/4th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Severely wounded 10/01/1917 in a raid on German trenches at Ypres, and died of these wounds at 13th General Hospital, France.

Son of John Edward Hopwood, of 16, Closes Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted July 1915.

Hornby, Harry –

Third son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hornby, of 3, Top-o’th’-Wallsuches, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly a clerk at the Horwich Loco Works. Enlisted September 1914. Reported wounded by gunshot above the knee and missing, and subsequently presumed killed.

Hornby, Charles –

Foster son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Wiseman, of 92, Oxford Grove, Bolton, Lancashire; great-nephew of Mrs. Staton, of 40, Mayor Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 2460, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported missing since 30/11/1918 and subsequently presumed killed.

Son of the late Ralph Horne and of Alice Horne (nee Gregson), of 21, Howell Croft South, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 56, Ashburner Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. Formerly 3rd Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.
