Son of William and Sarah Kirkman, of 69, Astley Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Died in hospital at Rouen from wounds received 19/08/1916.

Kirkman, Walter –

Nephew of Mrs. Wilson (nee Hilton), of 10, Centre Street, Brownlow Fold, Bolton, Lancashire.

Kirkman, Walter –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Kirkman, of 67, Rushey Fold Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. A signaller, he was wounded on 21/10/1916 whilst taking out a wire and telephone to a captured position and hospitalised at Birmingham.

Kirkman, William –

Of 9, William Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Private 2274, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded by gunshot in left upper arm in October 1915.

Son of Mr. Kirkman, of 9, William Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Wounded 25/09/1915.

Kirkpatrick, Leonard –

Son of William and Mary Ellen Kirkpatrick, of 23, Booth Road, Little Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915. Formerly Private 7629, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Kirwin, Robert –

Enlisted May 1916 from 55, Everitt Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Aunt lived at 38, Ellesmere Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Several brothers also served. Attached 8th Bn. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.

Kitchen, Richard –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Kitchen, of 38, Fourth Street, Barrow Bridge, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914. Reported missing since 10/07/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Kitchen, Walter –

Son of George Henry and Elizabeth Ann Kitchen, of 24, Pike View, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a clerk by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Horwich Loco Works. Formerly 8th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded by gunshot in the left leg at Vimy Ridge on 21/05/1916.

Knight, Jerry –

Son of Mrs. Knight, of 39, Ainscow Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1916. Reported missing since 10/07/1917 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war at Limburg.

Knight, Wilbraham Arthur –

Son of Mr. W. J. and Mrs. M. A. Knight, of 13, Luton Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Father was cashier at Raikes Bleachworks. Orderly to Colonel Hesketh. Killed when a piece of shell pierced his steel helmet. Recorded as A Knight on CWGC and in local newspapers, and as Arthur Knight on SDGW.
