Son of Mrs. Lewis, of 54, Beverley Road, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Lewis, of Manchester, Lancashire. Formerly Private 4793, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Attached 8th Bn. Reported as Lance Corporal in BJ&G. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.

Lewis, George Stacey –

Son of John Richard and Jane Lewis, engraver of Fold Street, Bolton, Lancashire and resident of 7, Mayfield Avenue, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1916. Formerly Private 7896, 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Killed in a night raid.

Lewis, William –

Son of Mary Ann Haslam (formerly Lewis), of 54, Fleet Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late W. Lewis. Stepson of Private George Haslam, Coldstream Guards, who was prisoner of war since 02/11/1914. A time-expired soldier, he was recalled to the colours in February 1917. His brother Edward also fell.

Formerly 3489, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.
