Eldest son of the late Robert and Margaret Mann, of 333, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 24, Peabody Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Brother Harry Mann serving on a minesweeper in the Royal Navy, c/o 6 Mess, HMS Wishart.

Mann, Leonard –

Son of Betsy Mann, of 18, Dougill Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 3549, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Suffered malaria and dysentery while serving in Salonika.

Mann, Thomas –

Son of Michael and Ellen Mann (nee Bowes); husband of Rose Hannah Mann (nee Houghton), of 58, Settle Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed at Outwood Pit. Suffered gunshot wounds to the back and eye 10/07/1916 resulting in loss of the left eye.

Mann, Thomas –

Son of Sarah Ann Martin (formerly Mann), and stepson of William Martin, of 10, New Brick Row, Prestolee, Lancashire. Formerly employed at Outwood Colliery. Badly gassed aged 21 with mustard gas resulting in loss of speech. Two brothers killed and one wounded.

Son of Mr. Richard Mansley, of 38, Angle Street, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire. One of four brothers serving. Admitted to No.8 Casualty Clearing Station suffering from wounds to the head, from which he never recovered.

Of 43, Shuttle Street, Tyldesley, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1915.

Marginson, Alfred –

Husband of Mrs. Marginson (nee Whitelegg), of 17, Anvil Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Wounded and in Whalley Hospital in May 1918.
