Son of Mrs. Morris, of 63, Keswick Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Ellen Morris, of 10, Newton Street, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed. His brother Harry served in Mesopotamia.

Morris, Arthur –

Son of John and Alice Morris; husband of Joan Morris, of Burnden, Bolton, Lancashire.

Morris, T –

Only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Morris, of 4, 5 Court, Old Hall Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously served in the South African Campaign with the Lancashire Fusiliers. Reported missing since 22/12/1914, and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war held at Wittenberg Camp, Germany.

Son of James and Elizabeth Morris, of 53, Park Street, Wellington, Shropshire; husband of Edith Morris, of 8, Buckthorpe Street, Manchester Road, Bolton, Lancashire.

Son of Mr. Morris, of 166, Bradford Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Wounded August 1916.

Morris, Thomas Stanley –

Son of Levi and Mary Morris, of 89, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Lance Sergeant 16905, 8th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Gazetted to Second Lieutenant 22/08/1915. Promoted Lieutenant July 1917.

Morris, Tom Martin –

Husband of Mary Ann Morris (nee Kirkman). Formerly Lance Corporal 3636, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded 09/08/1916.

Morris, William –

Of 30, Battenberg Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 20 as an absentee from Preston since 27/03/1915 and again as a deserter since 06/12/1916 from Felixstowe. Appeared before Bolton Magistrates Court 10/07/1915 and 11/12/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26 & JBO/1/27).
