Husband of Elizabeth Ann Beckett of 59, High Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 4996, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Promotion from Lance Corporal to Sergeant 16/08/1915, reported erroneously as J Beckett in BJ&G.

Bedgood, Archie –

Of 20, Coronation Street, Salford, Lancashire. Formerly employee of Smith & Coventry, Engineers. Served at Gallipoli where he contracted dysentry and enteric fever causing him to be sent to a hospital in Malta, and then to London. In 1916 he was sent to serve in Mesopotamia where he died. St. Clements Church, Ordsall.

Previous service as Colour Sergeant 2256, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, from which he was discharged as medically unfit 28/05/1916. Subsequently re-enlisted and passed as fit.
