Myers, Edgar –

Son of Stephen and Maria Myers, of 1, Edward Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire.

Myers, Elam –

Son of John and Emma Myers. Of Knowsley Cottage, Ainsworth, Lancashire. In iron foundry worker who despite twice being seriously injured whilst working, once in the legs and feet, and once in the face by hot metal, he secured acceptance into the army, being trained to shoot using his better left eye and shoulder. Wounded July 1916 “having had an arm blown off.”

Son of Stephen and Maria Myers, of 1, Edward Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly employed in the engine department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Bolton. Wounded 28/07/1916.

Myerscough, Frank –

Of 145, Brancker Street, Chequerbent, Westhoughton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915.

Nabb, Fred –

Son of the late Alfred and Harriet Nabb, of 41, Harris Street, Deane Road, Bolton, Lancashire. A territorial with six years service he was mobilised at the outbreak of war. Reported missing since 31/07/1917 and subsequently presumed killed.

Eldest son of Mrs. Naylor, of 22, High Street, Bolton, Lancashire and the late John Paul Naylor. Wounded in France on 09/05/1915.

Naylor, Norman –

Husband of Eleanor Naylor, of the Albion Hotel, 28, Moor Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded on 01/07/1916, and returning after recovery was killed by machine-gun fire.

Son of Collinson Naylor and Emma Naylor, of Middlebrough Buildings, Bruntcliffe, Leeds, Yorkshire; husband of Elsie Naylor, of 17, Wakefield Road, Bruntcliffe, Leeds, Yorkshire. Formerly 48507, Yorkshire Regiment.

Naylor, William –

Of 27, Chorley Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted July 1915. Caught aged 42 as an absentee from Lytham since 09/01/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 13/01/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26).
