Of 6, Back Church Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 19 as an absentee from Oswestry since 27/02/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 01/03/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).

Nisbet, Peter –

Son of Charles and Sarah Nisbet, of 32, Thynne Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a Fireman for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company.

Nixon, William –

Son of William and Elizabeth Nixon, of 74, Trafford Street, Farnworth; husband of Mrs. Nixon, of 46, Fallows Court, Kearsley. Formerly employed in the goods yard at Moses Gate Station. Served in Mesopotamia and was wounded by a bayonet through the head and hospitalised at Bombay for seven months.

Nolan, Bernard –

Of 2a, Rigby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted June 1915. Appointed paid Lance Corporal January 1916.

Nolan, Luke –

Of 16, Abraham Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1915.

Nolan, Robert –

Son of Edward and Elizabeth Ann Nolan, of 32, Autumn Street, Horwich, Lancashire. Sustained severe injuries in the head, left arm and abdomen on 21/04/1918 and admitted to the St. John Hospital, Cheltenham. Died of these wounds.

Of 326, Bury Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee from Park Hall Camp, Oswestry since 21/12/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 23/12/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/27).

Norburn, Frederick –

Son of Robert and Emily Norburn, of 26, Fleet Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 9, Merrick Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded 10/08/1916. Wounded and captured prisoner of war 30/11/1917 at Cambrai, but after ten weeks was exchanged and returned to London for treatment.
