Son of Henry and Nancy Partington, of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Hannah Partington, of 16, Hunt Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously served six years in the Royal Horse Artillery. Enlisted October 1914. Severely wounded in the legs August 1916.

Partington, Robert –

Son of John and Margaret Partington, of 2, Roscoe Fold, Breightmet, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915. Posted missing since 10/07/1917 and subsequently presumed killed.

Partington, Ambrose –

Husband of M. Makinson (formerly Partington), of 90, Oak Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 83, Cannon Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914. Killed in a mine explosion.

Only child of William Henry and Margaret Ellen Partington, of “Deane Holme”, 299, Wigan Road, Deane, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1909-1912).

Parton, Paul –

Son of Thomas Henry and Alice Mary Eliza Parton, of 45, Division Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 16, Holden Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915. Formerly Private 4346, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded 29/07/1917. Bandsman with the Bolton Salvation Army. Younger brother served in the Royal Marines.

Pass, Albert –

Husband of Mrs. Pass, of 15, Clough Street, Deane, Bolton, Lancashire. Reported missing since 21/03/1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war.

Pass, Robert –

Of 374, Leigh Road, Westhoughton, Lancashire. Caught aged 22 as an absentee from Heaton Park since 06/05/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 06/05/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).
