Pilkington, John –

Son of Hugh and Sarah Pilkington, of 14, Ribblesdale Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Reported wounded and missing since 20/09/1917 and subsequently presumed to have been killed.

Pilkington, Richard –

Of 21, Croasdale Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1915. Caught aged 23 as a deserter from Cosford St. Mary since 12/10/1914 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 09/11/1914 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/25).

Husband of Mrs. Pilkington, of 14, New Brick Row, Prestolee, Lancashire. Severely wounded with fractured skull, broken jaw and shrapnel wounds to the shoulder, arm and right side on 11/08/1916.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pilkington, of 28, Maze Street, Darcy Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. Formerly Private 4420, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Pilling, Harold –
