Son of Jeremiah and Hannah Robertshaw. Resided with his brother Robert and his wife Ada (nee Balme) at 3, Horrocks Fold, Edgworth, Turton, Lancashire. Reported missing 10/07/1916, and subsequently presumed to have died on that date.

Son of Patrick Hay Robertson and Maria Robertson, of 9, Burke Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted August 1916. Formerly Private 8780, 1st/4th Bn. and 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Served in France. Reported missing since 30/11/1917 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war at Munster.

Caught aged 28 as an absentee from Blackpool since 09/12/1915, and for being Drunk and Disorderly and committing wilful damage at 10 All Saints Street, Bolton, appearing before Bolton Magistrates 22/01/1916, and caught again as an absentee from Oswestry since 02/05/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 29/05/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort.
