Son of Mrs. Royle, of Albion Street, Rochdale, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Royle, of 40, Blindsill, New Bury, Farnworth, Lancashire, and formerly of 21, Lower Street, New Bury, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Wounded by shrapnel in the right leg in October 1916.

Son of Joseph and Ann Royse, of 11, Grecian Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed on the tramways. Reported missing since 21/10/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Son of Joseph and Ann Royse, of 11, Grecian Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Hit by a shell and killed almost instantly.

Son of Inspector J. Rushton, of the Bolton County Borough Police; husband of Mrs. Rushton, of 4, Grecian Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Bolton Corporation Tramways Department. Enlisted September 1914. Wounded on 07/07/1916 in the hand by an exploding bullet, resulting in loss of the middle finger.
