Sefton, Tom –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Sefton, of 59, Rushey Fold Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Of 1, Frances Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1915. Promoted to Sergeant five weeks after enlistment. Promoted to Quartermaster Sergeant, Colour Sergeant, and then commissioned in 1917. Wounded when his revolver was blown out of left hand, taking part of the hand with it, the remainder of the hand requiring amputation in hospital in France.
