Son of James Vickers, pawnbroker, and of Angelina Vickers, of 272, Blackburn Road, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Hit by a projectile from an anti-aircraft gun whilst asleep and died in Boulogne Military Hospital.
