Of 45, Moorfield Grove, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee since 12/06/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 17/06/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26) Wounded 1916.

Of 28, Taskers Lane, Kearsley, Lancashire. Formerly Lance Corporal 1754, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded by gunshot on 04/11/1915. Reported wounded and missing 09/08/1916 and confirmed wounded in the left leg by shrapnel on 09/08/1916.
