Husband of Annie Williams, of 46, Gorton Street, New Bury, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly of 7 Albert Place, New Bury, Farnworth, Lancashire. Joined the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment in November 1912. Reported missing since 26/08/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Williams, Ernest –

Son of George and Elizabeth Hannah Williams, of 21, Poplar Street, Tyldesley, Lancashire. Died at the 2nd/2nd Northumbrian Field Ambulance from gunshot wound to the head.

Of 42, Swan Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 2815, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded August 1916.

Of 8, Hart Street, Platt Bridge, Wigan, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915.

Williams, Herbert –

Of 96, Turton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 9991, 8th Bn., Manchester Regiment. Caught aged 30 as an absentee from Felixstowe since 10/09/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 16/09/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort.

Williamson, J –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Williamson, of 32, King Street, Harwood, Turton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914. Wounded in the Persian Gulf in the right foot and left hand, developed septic poisoning, and then suffered dysentery and yellow fever. His brother served in the Royal Army Medical Corps.

Willis, Frederick Walter –

Of 12, Sharman Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Posted as missing since 26/10/1917 and subsequently presumed to have been killed.
