Of 17, Broad-o’th’-Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915.

Cole, Ernest –

Formerly Private 4998, 2nd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Played in a football match in October 1916 against a team from the 2nd/10th Bn., King’s Liverpool Regiment.

Coleman, Thomas –

Husband of Mrs. Coleman, of 8, Levers Court, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914. Wounded June 1915 by gunshot to the arm, and resumed duty. Died from influenza in hospital in France.

Coleman, Arthur Frederick –

Son of Arthur Coleman, of 3, Avenue Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted July 1915. Formerly Private 5734, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported as wounded and missing since 26/10/1917, and subsequently presumed killed.

Coleman, Daniel –

Son of James and Katherine Coleman, of 22, Hobson Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Amelia Coleman (nee Frangleton), of 76, Holden Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 37, Back Reservoir Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Reported missing since 25/09/1915 and subsequently presumed killed.

Colgan, Herbert –

Formerly employed on the Farnworth route of the tramways. Wounded at Vimy Ridge when a shell burst in the dug-out, resulting in being blinded for a time.
