Son of Thomas Kershaw, of 42, Seymour Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915, prior to which he had been in America around four years. Formerly 3974, 2nd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.
