Brown, William Henry –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Brown, of 117, Egerton Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Brown, of 58, Balmoral Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Previously worked as a conductor on South Lancashire Tramways. Enlisted January 1915. Formerly 19401, Border Regiment. Died in a French field ambulance and buried in Belgium. Brother of David and James Albert Brown, of 117, Egerton Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire, who also served. Memorial in Farnworth Cemetery.

Brown, Fred –

Son of William and Sushannah Brown, of 39, Harper Green Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly employed in the grocery department of the Central Stores of the Farnworth Cooperative Society. Joined up May 1917. Reported missing since 27/05/1918 at Soissons, and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war.

Son of William and Maria Bryce. Of 38, Eskrick Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915. Formerly Acting Second Corporal 013431, Royal Army Ordnance Corps; formerly Private 59329, Northumberland Fusiliers.

Bull, Robert –

Of 30, Peabody Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Seriously wounded 13/11/1916 and hospitalised at Graylingwell War Hospital, Sussex. Two brothers also wounded.

Campbell, Thomas –

Husband of May Jane Campbell, of 12, Back Haydock Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Called up from the reserve 04/08/1914. Formerly 2/647, Lancashire Fusiliers. Killed by a bullet wound to the head, having previously been gassed, wounded in the hip and buried.
