Edge, Harry –

Son of Adam and Emma Edge, of 8, Victor Street, Brownlow Fold, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mary Edge (nee Costello), of 17, Victor Street, Brownlow Fold, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 1802, Lancashire Fusiliers. Served in the Dardanelles and in France with the Lancashire Fusiliers, and in Salonika with the Machine Gun Corps.

Edge, John Latham –

Son of John Henry and Margaret Edge, of 481, Halliwell Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 3626, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded in the left foot November 1916 and hospitalised at Leeds. Youngest of three soldier brothers. His brother Frank also fell.

Entwisle, Charles Herbert –

Younger son of Sarah Jane Entwisle, of Manchester Road, Swinton, Lancashire, and of the late Peter Entwisle. Formerly with the Edmonton contingent of the Canadian Imperial Force. Commissioned into the Border Regiment.

Son of Alfred and Mary H. Entwisle, of Brookside, Belper, Derbyshire, and grandson of the late James Entwisle, of Carlton Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Private 4878, Sherwood Foresters.

Entwistle, James –

Son of Richard and Harriet Entwistle, of 85, Longsight, Harwood, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of the Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Captured after only a week at the front and prisoner of war at Limburg, Germany.

Evans, David –

Son of the late Mrs. Evans, of 14, Temple Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 8573, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Originally reported slightly wounded on 23/04/1917, but subsequently reported killed.
