Son of Lily Haddock (nee Whatmough), of Bolton, Lancashire, and the late John Bailey Haddock. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1903-07). Formerly Corporal 54128, a dispatch rider in the Royal Engineers.

Halliday, John –

Husband of Mrs. Ethell Halliday, of 4, George Street, Little Lever, Lancashire, and formerly of 78, Lever Street, Little Lever, Lancashire. Formerly Corporal 18970, Border Regiment. Wounded by gunshot to wrist and shell shock 06/08/1915 in the Dardanelles. Killed in a roof collapse at Outwood Colliery on 26/03/1919 and interred 29/03/1919.

Hardman, John Hampson –

Of 9, Knowsley Road, Ainsworth, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915. Formerly Private 22670, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded by shrapnel in the face and arm July 1916. Wounded again and in a base hospital in July 1918. His brother William was in the Army from 1914.
