Husband of Mrs. Fielding, of 5, Broome Street, Haulgh, Bolton, Lancashire. Served 16 years in the Manchester Regiment., including service in the South African Campaign. Recorded as F C Fielding on CWGC, Frederick Charles Fielding on SDGW, and as Frederick C Fielding on Medal Card.

Fish, Herbert –

Son of the late Martin and Elizabeth Fish, of 46, Albert Street, Eccles, Lancashire. Formerly 16th Bn., Manchester Regiment. Home service only. Died aged 29 years 15/02/1916 and interred in Eccles (St. Mary the Virgin) Churchyard.

Fitton, William Henry –

Husband of Lily Kitson (formerly Fitton, nee Murray), of 12, Great Newton Street, Newton Heath, Manchester, Lancashire. Posted missing since 20/10/1914 and subsequently presumed killed.

Fitzpatrick, John –

Fitzpatrick, Joseph –

Son of Martin and Mary Fitzpatrick, of 126, Tatton Street, Salford, Lancashire. Whilst serving in the UK he was promoted Lance Corporal on the 24/03/1915 and to Corporal 08/11/1915. He arrived in France 18/11/1915 and gained a further promotion to Sergeant 09/07/1916. He was reported as missing on 30/07/1916 and was later presumed to have died on this date. Prior to the war Joseph had worked as a Salesman.
