Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gilfoy, of 41, Pioneer Street, Horwich, Lancashire, and formerly of 195, Lee Lane, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly worked at Horwich Loco Works as a boiler maker. Died at Poona, India, from appendicitis. Also remembered on Face 7 of the Kirkee 1914-1918 Memorial, India.

Son of Elizabeth Gillett, of 4, Clough Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 73rd Training Reserve. Reported missing following an engagement on 27/04/1918. Confirmed taken prisoner of war. Also reported as a signaller in the Royal Engineers in BJ&G.
