Son of Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Hind, of 25, Coleridge Street, Lower Broughton, Salford, Lancashire.

Hinley, Thomas –

Of 9, Victoria Street, Wigan, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee from Heaton Park, Manchester since 02/04/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 06/04/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/27).

Hodgkiss, Ellis –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Hodgkiss, of 4, Kent Street, Farnworth, Lancashire, husband of Emma Hodgkiss, of 119, Plover Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 71, Commission Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Brother-in-Law of Private Peter Whalley, 2nd Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. A former regular soldier on the reserve at the outbreak of war. Reported missing since 27/10/1914 and subsequently presumed killed.
