Johnson, Alfred Earlam –

Son of Alfred Earlam Johnson and Florence Rosalie Johnson, of Bickershaw Hall, Wigan, Lancashire. Badly wounded on 04/06/1915 at Gallipoli. He recovered from his wounds but was no longer physically fit for active service and was posted to the 53rd Bn., Manchester Regiment in England for home service.

Son of Mr. Robert Thorley Johnson, former headmaster of the Rivington and Blackrod Grammar School, and Mrs. Lilian Johnson, of Gloucestershire, later of “Yalta”, King’s Road, Colwyn Bay.
